Alexander Lorance Kerr, 54, of Sedalia, died Friday, May 16, 2008, at Bothwell Regional Health Center.

He was born December 17, 1953, in Waukesha, Wisconsin, a son of Laurie Clifford and Betty Ann Horlick Kerr.

Mr. Kerr attended First Baptist Church in Warsaw. He was an Navy Seal Vietnam veteran.  He was employed by Architectural Welder/Construction in Springfield, Missouri. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, painting, and his birds. He especially loved his grandson, James.

Surviving are two sons, Alexander Kerr, Jr and Steven Kerr; three daughters Leslie Groskoff, Mallori Kerr of Sedalia and Andrea Kerr of Sedalia; four brothers Larry, Mike, Peter, David, all from Wisconsin; two sisters, Robin Jones, from Michigan; Sherry Libenthal; and several grandchildren including James Hayes. 

Memorial services will be at a later date under the direction of Heckart Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
