Beulah Virginia Davis, 92, of Sedalia, died Thursday, July 19, 2007, at Harmony Gardens Resident Care Center in Warrensburg.

She was born September 23, 1914, in Seymour, Missouri, a daughter of Daniel and Viola Crawford Severns. On June 9, 1966, she was married to Ralph Eugene Davis, who died March 1, 1998.

Mrs. Davis was a member of Broadway Presbyterian Church, Sedalia Chapter #57, Order of the Eastern Star. She attended Burge Nursing School, now Cox, in Springfield, Missouri. She was a registered nurse working for local oral surgeon, Dr. Reiney, and had lived in Sedalia since 1954.

Survivors include four daughters, Marilyn S. Harding, of Warrensburg, Kathryn A. Lowe, of Rochport, Missouri, Martha J. Lowe, and  Margaret L. Biesiada-Lowe, both  of St. Louis, Missouri; two sons, Daniel L. Lowe, and Michael G. Lowe, both of Sedalia; seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren; a step daughter, Mary Ann Ford, of Cabot, Arkansas; a step son, Joe A. Davis, of Reinbeck, Iowa; five step grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, July23, 2007, at Heckart
Funeral Home with Rev. Dr. Alex Wales officiating.

Pallbearers will be Edward Underwood, John Harding, Bob Lowe, Bill Davis, Todd Davis, Matthew Underwood and Jamie York.

Burial will be in Malta Bend Cemetery.

Friends may call to sign the guest register from 8:30 to 1:00 p.m. Saturday and after 8:30 a.m. Monday until service time at Heckart Funeral Home.

Memorial contributions are suggested to the Children’s Therapy Center or to
Bothwell Hospice.
