Mrs. Green worked as a Secretary for Insurance agency, School Administration, and Nothrope-Grumman. Colleen served on the Reception party for the first B-2 Bomber in 1993, at Whiteman Air Force Base. She was a home maker and an excellent house keeper, but most of all she was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Colleen liked craft work especially Indian bead work.

Survivors include her husband, Mike Green of the home; one son Kevin Lynn Green and a granddaughter Kelsey Lynn Green, of Sedalia. a brother, Bud Waters, of Pine Ridge, South Dakota and her Mother and Father-in-Law, William and Dorothy Green, of Sedalia.

Memorial Services will be held on Tuesday, June 10, 2008 at 10:30 a.m. at the Heckart Funeral Home with Rev. A. William McVey

Visitation will be held from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Colleen Zelma Green, 64, of Sedalia, died Wednesday, June 4, 2008, at her home.

She was born July 14, 1943 in Pine Ridge, South Dakota, a daughter of Joseph and Jessie Waters BlackElk. On July 27, 1968, in Hot Springs, South Dakota, she married Mike Green, who survives of the home.
