Mrs. Donath was a member of Epworth United Methodist Church. She was active in Guys and Dolls social group at the church. She was also volunteered for the Bothwell Hospital Auxiliary. She worked at Lamy’s Manufacturing and Town & Country Shoes and enjoyed quilting and gardening. She lived most of her life in Sedalia.
Surviving are twin daughters, Michelle Donath, of Houston, Texas and Patricia
Morgan, of Sedalia; a brother, Robert Yancey, of Cedar Rapids, IA; two sisters, Rachel Meskimen, of Hiawatha, IA and Judy McCallister, of Cedar Rapids, IA; two grandchildren, Luke Morgan and Alicesen Morgan.
She was predeceased by three brothers, Lawrence Yancey, David Yancey and Ronald Yancey; and one sister, Ruth Popelka.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, January 5, 2008 at Heckart Funeral Home with Rev. Ben Mulford officiating.
Pallbearers will be David Moore, Gary Moore and Lincoln Moore
Burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
