Leona Marie Blaylock, 88, of Humble, TX, formerly of Sedalia, died Wednesday, March 19, 2008, at Humble Health Care Center, Humble, TX.

She was born July 15, 1919, in Sedalia a daughter, of Edward Fienton and Libby Marie Moon Anthony. On January 9, 1917, in Sedalia, she married Clyde G. Blaylock, who died January 16, 2003.

Mrs. Blaylock was a Baptist and a homemaker. She enjoyed canning vegetables, listening to kids play the piano, crocheting, sewing, gardening and cooking.  She lived most of her life in the Sedalia area.

Survivors include three daughters, Juanita Dailey, of Houston, TX, Wanda Hall, of Alabaster, AL, and Nadine Posey, Alabaster, AL; two sons, Garnett Blaylock, of Sedalia and Darrell Blaylock, of Baytown, TX; 12 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a sister and two brothers.

Graveside services and burial will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at Crown Hill Cemetery, with Rev. Bob Wasson officiating.

Pallbearers will be Garnett Blaylock, Darrell Blaylock, Donald Posey and Jeffrey Scott.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at Heckart Funeral Home.
