Thomas S. "Tom" Lilly, 64, of Warsaw, formerly of Sedalia, died Saturday, July 19, 2008, at his home.
He was born November 3, 1943, in Sedalia, a son of Oliver and Ellla Imogene Lane Lilly. On June 1, 1963, in Sedalia, he married Janis F. Spry, who survives of the home.
Mr Lilly was a member of East Sedalia Baptist Church . He was a Sedalia fire fighter until he retired. Later worked for Sedalia #200 School District. He was a past member of Fire Fighters Local Union #823. He was an avid hunter and fisherman.
Survivors include his wife, Janis Lilly, of the home; three brothers, Richard Lilly, of Sedalia, Clinton Franklin, of Windsor and Nick Franklin, of Green Ridge; a sister, Jeanie Mosier, of Sedalia; his mother, Ella Franklin, of Sedalia. He was predeceased by his step father, Perry Franklin and his father, Oliver Lilly.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, July 22, 2008, at Heckart Funeral Home, with the Rev. Bruce Campbell officiating.
Pallbearers will be Buck Lynn, Jim Bob Anderson, Buddy Welton, Mike Vanderlinden, Mike Spry and Brian Williams.
Honorary bearers will be Bobby Lewis and the Sedalia Fire Department.
Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions to the Show-Me-Christian Youth Home.
