She was a member of First Christian Church. She worked as a Secretary at the University of Missouri, retiring in 1974. She was the secretary of the National Association of Retired Employees 605, severed on the Board of Directors for Meals on Wheels, scheduled volunteers for the Bothwell Hospital Auxiliary, volunteered at Liberty Center selling tickets. She was active in Square Dancing Clubs. She loved flowers and gardening, loved her Maltese dog Sugar Baby, and enjoyed traveling.
Survivors include her husband of the home.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, July 18, 2008, at Heckart Funeral Home with Rev. Jim Stovall officiating.
Pallbearers will be Bob West, Harold GuyNeas, Jack Blackwell, David Craig, Louis Sholly, Leroy Wimer.
Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Family will receive friends from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Friday at the Funeral Home.
Memorials are suggested to Meals on Wheels.

Mildred “Mickey” Josephine Nease, 86, of Sedalia, died Tuesday, July 15, 2008 at Bothwell Regional Health Center.
She was born on January 22, 1922 in Saline County, daughter of Ernest O. and Birdie Katherine Kuntz, Payne. Mildred married on March 11, 1972 to Bobbie Clark Nease, who survives of the home.
