Mr. Killion was a member and current governor of Moose Lodge 1494. He was an over-the-road truck driver and a U.S. Navy veteran. He love his grandchildren and spending time with his family.
Surviving are his wife, of the home; two sons, Michael Killion, and his wife, Meredith, of California, and Christopher Killion, and his wife, Tamera, of Sedalia; four grandchildren, Nicholas, Brittany, Haeley and C.J.; three sisters, Sharon DeMoss, Phyllis Davis and Roseanne Nunse; and a brother, Raymond Killion.
He was predeceased by his parents.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Crown Hill Cemetery, with members of Moose Lodge 1494 officiating.
A celebration of life will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at Moose Lodge 1494.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Friends may sign the family’s guest register at www.heckartfuneralhome.com.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to family choice, in care of the funeral home.
Ronald R. Killion, 64, of Sedalia, died Sunday, Oct. 5, 2008, at Bothwell Regional Health Center.
He was born Aug. 10, 1944, in Kansas City, a son of Raymond and Marie Allen Killion. On May 3, 1968, in Hillsboro, Kan., he was married to Elaine Walter.
