Velma Pearl Moore, 75, of Sedalia, died Friday, May 16, 2008 at Bothwell Regional HealthCenter.
She was born September 18, 1932, in Granby, Colorado, a daughter of William Delton andMarilla Adeline Dillon Shanahan. On January 19, 1950, in Harrison, Arkansas, she married AmuilH. Moore, who survives of the home.
Mrs. Moore worked MFA - Swifts and O & R Poultry for 10 years. She was a homemaker andhad lived in Sedalia since 1949.
Also surviving are a son, William Cecil Moore, and his wife Terri, of Warsaw; two daughters,Peggy Marie Wombles, and Susan Ann Spratley, and her husband John all of Sedalia: four brothers,Ralph Shanahan, Sedalia, Leo Vernon Shanahan, Dekota City, Nebraska, Kenneth E. Shanahan,Springfield, and Raymond C. Shanahan, Englewood, Colorado; two stepsons, Harold Wayne Mooreand Sammy Moore; a step daughter, Connie Dabney; four grandsons and two grand daughters; two great grandchildren; six step grandchildren and four step great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by two brothers, Robert Shanahan and Melvin Shanahan.
Graveside services and burial will be held at Memorial Park Cemetery at a later date.
The family suggests memorial contributions to Sylvia G. Thompson Residence Center.
