Robert Francis “Bob” Albin, 75, of Malta Bend, died Tuesday evening, Aug. 19, 2008, at Four Seasons Living Center.
He was born Nov. 19, 1932, near Chilhowee, a son of Hugh M. and Flora P. Moore Albin.
Mr. Albin lived most of his life in California. He was a carpenter. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, bowling and playing on his computer. He was a member of Community Methodist Church in Chilhowee.
Surviving are two sisters, Margaret Howerton, and her husband, John D., of Chilhowee, and Mary Sue Rowan, of Malta Bend; two brothers, William H. Albin, and his wife, Carolyn, of Otterville, and John C. Albin, and his wife, Margie, of Lincoln; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was predeceased by his parents and a son, Robert Francis Albin, II.
Graveside services and burial will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 23, 2008, at Chilhowee Cemetery, with the Rev. Matt Goodsell officiating.
Memorial contributions are suggested to Chilhowee Cemetery.
