Melody Ann Andrews, 22, of LaPlata, Missouri, died Saturday, June 5, 2004, in Pettis County from injuries suffered in an auto accident.

She was born March 6, 1982, daughter of Rita Mae Faust.

She believed in the Baptist faith. She worked as a certified nurses aid in the home health care profession. She was a wonderful mother, caring and loving for her three babies very much.

Survivors include two sons, Dante Brockman, Stover, Missouri, Jayden Andrews, LaPlata, Missouri and a daughter Destiny Crawford, Wichita, Kansas; three sisters, Tina Faust, Wichita, Kansas, Ashley and Carrie Hern, both of Winter Haven, California; her mother, Rita Faust, Shelbina, Missouri; maternal grandmother, Marian Nagel, Columbia, Missouri; maternal grandfather, George James Faust, Fayette, Missouri and maternal step grandparents, Daniel and Betty Hern, Malta Bend, Missouri. She was preceded in death by her maternal great grandmother, Edna Koch.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 9, 2004, at the Heckart/Gillespie Colonial Chapel with Rev. Bob Wasson officiating. Pallbearers will be Gary Faust, Tim Faust, Mark Mejih and John Campbell. Honorary pallbearer will be Michael Hern.

Burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Heckart/Gillespie Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, the family recommends memorial contributions to the Melody Andrews Children’s Trust Fund in care of the funeral home.
