Church. He was an over-the-road truck driver. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, horseback riding, camping, playing guitar, singing and going to demolition derbies.

Also surviving are his mother, Alice Coghill, of Sedalia; two daughters, Ginger Smith, of Wy., and Melissa Barker, of Sedalia; three stepdaughters, Christina Mendez, of Wright City, Betty Ramos, of Troy and Shonda Logerman, of Ladonia; two stepsons, D.J. Bowlin, of Troy, and Jason Delozier, of Wellsville; two brothers, Jerry Barker, of Wy., and Kevin McQuerrey, of Des Moines, Iowa; two stepsisters, Pam Creel and Stephanie McKenney, both of Kansas; and 16 grandchildren, Sabrina, Quinton, Leah, Kersten, Joe, Alfredo, Christian, Maria, Isabella, Payten, Tereza, Emily, Selena, Austen, Dalton and Deven. He was predeceased by his father.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, October 9, 2006, at Westside Assembly of God Church, with the Rev. Scott Gruening officiating.

Pallbearers will be Steve Ramirez, Cameron Smith, Tommy Johns, Bobby Johns, David Burts and Jason Delozier.

Burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 9 a.m. until service time Monday at the church.

Gary Dwayne Barker, 52, of Florence, passed away Thursday, Oct. 5, 2006, at Bothwell Regional Health Center.

He was born Jan. 27, 1954, in Kansas City, a son of Elmer J. and Alice L. Boyer Barker. On Feb. 11, 2005, in Sedalia, he was married to Carla Johns, who survives of the home.
