Ruth Beck, 89, of Otterville, died Friday, March 25, 2005, at Tipton Manor in
Tipton.

She was born June 6, 1915, in Morgan County, a daughter of Ira Mayfield and
Etta Lorena Holman Page. On April 11, 1939, at Saint Patrick Church, in Sedalia, she was married to Anton “Tony” Beck, who died February 2, 1986.

Mrs. Beck was a member of Saint Patrick Church and the Otterville Senior
Center. She had worked at Findley’s Café, Miller’s Café and Blakesley’s Store in
Otterville. She enjoyed quilting, baking and cooking.

Survivors include a son, Michael Beck, and his wife, Carolyn, of Lake of the
Ozarks; three granddaughters, Angie Berendzen, and her husband, Terry, of Brazito, Marge Doerhoff, and her husband, Mike, of Brazito, and JoAnn Beck, of Lake of the Ozarks; five great grandchildren, Elizabeth Berendzen, Samuel Berendzen, Donovan Doerhoff, Ryan Doerhoff and Carson Doerhoff; two sisters, Cassie Homan, of Otterville, and Fern Baker, of Houstonia; two brothers, C. Clay Page, of Overland Park, Kan. and Farrel “Bud” Page, of Albuquerque, N.M.

She was predeceased by a sister, Ruby Sanders; and two brothers, Deo Page and Jewell Page.

Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 29, 2005, at Saint Patrick Church, with the Rev. David Veit officiating.

Pallbearers will be Mike Doerhoff, Terry Berendzen, George Romig, Eddie
Seifert, Jerry Page and Jeffrey Page.

Burial will be in Saint Joseph Cemetery near Clifton City.

The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. Monday, March 28, 2005, at Heckart/Gillespie Funeral Home, where a prayer service will be held at 7 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to Otterville
Senior Center, Tipton Oaks or a charity of the donor’s choice.
