Florence Ella Bilderback, 97, of Olathe, formerly of Sedalia, died Wednesday, December 27, 2006, at Olathe Medical Center, in Olathe, Kansas.
She was born August 22, 1909, in Florence, a daughter of Louis William and Rachel Hannah Casdorph Tiemann. On May 16, 1931, in Sedalia, she married William E. Bilderback, who died in 1972.
Mrs. Bilderback was affiliated with the United Church of Christ. She graduated
from Florence High School and was a homemaker. She lived most of her life in the
Florence and Sedalia areas.
Surviving are a daughter, Sharon Busker, and her husband, Charles, of Independence; two sons, Billy Wayne Bilderback, and Gary Bilderback, and his wife, Therese, all of Olathe; seven grandchildren; four stepgrandchildren; 16 great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by three infant daughters, Inis, Wanda Lois and Norma Anetta; a stepdaughter, Sue White; a grandson, Todd Bilderback; a step granddaughter, Lisa White; and eight brothers.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 30, 2006, at Heckart/Gillespie Colonial Chapel, with the Rev. J.D. Reed officiating.
Pallbearers will be grandchildren.
Burial will be in Union Cemetery in Florence.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until service time Saturday at the funeral home.
