Bobby Aulife Johnson, 61, of Sedalia, died Wednesday, Oct. 17, 2007, at his home.
He was born Aug. 27, 1946, in Lenoir County, N.C., a son of Hubert Mills and Sara Uldine Williamson Johnson. On Nov. 11, 1978, in North Carolina, he was
married to Peggy Lou Shoemaker, who survives of the home.
Mr. Johnson was a custodian at State Fair Community College for 19 years.
He enjoyed camping, fishing, hunting, and watching westerns and the History
channel.
Also surviving are a son, Ervin Johnson, of Sedalia; a daughter, Cynthia Weller, and her husband, Ethan, of Sedalia; three brothers, Ervin Johnson, Raven Johnson and Miles Johnson, all of North Carolina; two sisters, Marilyn, of Georgia, and Sharon Creech, of North Carolina; and a granddaughter, Kitana Weller.
He was predeceased by his parents; and a sister, June Glowner.
Memorial services will be at 6 p.m. Friday, October 19, 2007, at Heckart Funeral Home, with the Rev. Wayne Shoemaker Sr. officiating.
Burial will be in Hopewell Cemetery.
