Edith Geraldine Blake, 85, of Tipton, formerly of Sedalia and Kansas City,
died Friday, July 22, 2005, at Tipton Oak Manor in Tipton.

She was born November 29, 1919, in Longwood, a daughter of John B. and
Zylphia Bishop Baldwin. In 1951, in Kansas City, Kan., she was married to Julian Blake, who died in 1974. In 1983, in Miami, Okla., she was married to Russell Millsap, who died in 2001.

Mrs. Blake lived in Kansas City for 45 years before moving to Sedalia three
years ago. She was a member of Antioch Hills Baptist Church in Overland Park,
Kan. She was a homemaker.

Surviving are two sons, John Crook, of Sedalia, and Charles Crook, of Kansas
City, Kan.; five grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and two great great
grandchildren.

She was predeceased by four brothers, John Baldwin, Donald Baldwin, Edward
Baldwin and Howard Baldwin; a sister, Juanita Schulte; and a grandson.

Services and burial will be held at a later date in Highland Sacred Gardens.
There will be no visitation, however friends may sign the guest register online at

The family suggests memorial contributions to Mid-Missouri Humane Society.
