Penny Sue Bohon, 47, of Sedalia, died Sunday, June 22, 2003, at her home.
She was born January 10, 1956, in Sedalia, daughter of Edward and Rosemary Winfrey Gehlken. On June 29, 1974, in Sedalia, she married Charles L. Bohon, who survives of Sedalia.
Mrs. Bohon was a member of Antioch Fellowship Church. She had worked at one time as a cook for the Sedalia Public Schools and was a homemaker. She lived all of her life in Sedalia.
Survivors include a son, Travis Bohon of New Baltimore, Michigan; two daughters, Tracy DeLay of Stephens City, Virginia, and Tristan Bohon of Sedalia; a twin sister, Lenny Gehlken of Aurora, Colorado; and three granddaughters. She was preceded in death by a sister, Darlene Furman; and her parents.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, June 27 at Antioch Fellowship Church, with the Rev. Harvey Miller officiating.
Pallbearers will be Jim Aller, Charles Bohon, Travis Bohon, Michael DeLay, Dan Drianis and Henry Roberts.
Burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery
The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Thursday, June 26 at the Heckart/Gillespie Funeral Home, where friends may call after 8:30 a.m. Thursday.
