Ernest N. Bolling, 70, of Sedalia, died Monday, July 9, 2007.
He was born Jan. 11, 1937, in Flat Gap, Va., a son of Henry Ernest and Cassie S. Sturgill Bolling. On Oct. 13, 1956, in Swayzee, Ind., he was married to Mary Frances Johnson, who survives of the home.
Mr. Bolling enjoyed farming, gardening, traveling, working on computers, and loved the Appalachian Mountains. He was an Air Force veteran and a member of Sacred Heart Church. He was a retired sales representative.
Also surviving are three daughters, Dawn Bolling May, and her husband, Rudy Jr., of Fresno, Calif., Angela Longan, of Sedalia, and Lesli Shaver, and her husband, Mike, of Plattsburg; three sons, William Bolling, and his wife, Vera, of Parkville, Charles Bolling, of Sedalia, and John Bolling, and his fiancé, Sheilah, of Yorkville, Calif.; his stepfather, Charles E. Ohler, of Gardens of Annapolis, Md.; a sister, Janet Johnson, of Goldsboro, Md.; 11 grandchildren, Tara, Josh, Ashley, Nichole, Rachael, Lauren, Corey, Ernie, Austin, Erin and Blake; and four great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, July 13, 2007, at Heckart/Gillespie Colonial Chapel, with Dr. Ron Shuler officiating.
Pallbearers will be Bill Bolling, Charles Bolling, John Bolling, Josh Bolling, Mike Shaver, Austin Shaver, Corey Bolling, Ernie Bolling and Blake Longan.
Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
