Mr. Bryson was a member of Christ and Trinity Lutheran Church. He was a graduate of Cole Camp High School in 1955. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army from 1961 through 1963 and was stationed in Germany.. He worked as a lineman and forman for Missouri Public Service and Central Missouri Electric Coop retiring in 1994. He was also a member of Moose Lodge #1494, Elks Lodge BPOE 125, and American Legion 642. He enjoyed fishing, yard work, gardening, travel with his family, visiting with family and friends, having coffee with his buddies and driving his red truck. He had live all of his life in Sedalia.
Survivors include three daughters, Robin Tennant and her husband Dan, of Peachtree, GA, Rhonda Bryson, of Independence, and Rita Lawson and her husband Chris, of Kansas City; four grandsons, Shelby Barker, Chris Bryson, Mel Lawson and Owen Lawson; two great granddaughters; a sister, Mary Jo Bryson, of St. Joseph and two brothers, Roy W. Bryson and his wife Elaine, of Sedalia and John Dee Bryson, of Sedalia.
He was predeceased by his parents.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, January 28, 2008 at Heckart Funeral Home with Pastor Yvonne Marshall officiating.
Pallbearers will be Bob Hesse, Ronnie Page, Rick Dickenson, Charles Hopkins, Jake Hartung and Merlyn Shephard.
Honorary bearers will be Charlie Curry, Jim Treece, Jim Hankins, Mark Gray, Sonny Broyles, Terry Sheere and Marvin Ehlers.
Burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery. Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #2591 will
conduct full military honors at the graveside.
The family will receive friends from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Moose Lodge BPOE 125 will conduct services at 4:30 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home

Center or to the Bothwell Hospice.
Robert “Bob” Lee Bryson, 71, of Sedalia, died Friday, January 25, 2008, at Rest Haven Convalescent Home.
He was born July 26, 1936, in Sedalia, a son of Roy L. and Mary E. Glazebrook Bryson. He married Elda Eckhoff in June 1958.
