Albert Lee Carr, 33, of Sedalia, died Wednesday, January 21, 2004, at his home.
He was born December 23, 1970, in Sedalia, Missouri; son of Burt and Kay McNeal Carr.
Mr. Carr loved spending time with his two sons. He worked as a news reporter for KDRO and KPOW Radio for the past three years.
Survivors include his parents Burt and Kay Carr of Sedalia; two sons, Drake Albert Carr, Sedalia; Dylan Michael Keele, Sedalia; maternal grandmother, Betty McNeal, Sedalia; Paternal grandmother, Ruth Carr, Sedalia and many aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Albert Lee Carr and maternal grandfather, Melvin McNeal.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the Heckart/Gillespie Colonial Chapel with the Rev. Russell Willoughby officiating.
Pallbearers will be Chris Waters, Bill Barrick, Stu Gressley, Myron McNeal, Melvin McNeal and Mark McNeal.
Entombment will be held in the Memorial Park Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Heckart/Gillespie Colonial Chapel. Friends may also sign the guest register online at www.heckart-gillespie .com.
The family suggests contributions to the Drake Carr and Dylan Keele Scholarship Fund.
