Levi Louis Childress, 39, of Sedalia, died Saturday, July 21, 2007, in Middletown, New York as a result of an auto accident.
He was born March 6, 1968, in Kansas City, Missouri, a son of Elmer William and Carol Anne Young Childress.
He attended Harvest Time Prayer and Praise Center. Levi was an over the road truck driver for Snider National Trucking . He loved to hunting and fishing and lived in Sedalia most of his life.
Survivors include a daughter, Clairissa Childress, of Oceola; a brother, Eric
Childress, of Bolivar; a half brother, Jeff Pennington, of Belton; a half sister, Tammy Pennington, of Emporia, Kan.; and his companion of 12 years, Mary Young, of Sedalia; four step children James Price, of Sedalia, Theresa Bowie, of St. Louis, Barbara Aslin, of Sedalia and Robert Harrison, of Sedalia; nine step grandchildren.
A memorial service will be conducted by the family at 4:00 p.m. Saturday, July 28, 2007, at Liberty Park shelter #3.
