Harold Andrew Coffman, 75, of Sedalia, died Sunday afternoon, March 2, 2008 at Kansas City Hospice House, Kansas City, Missouri.He was born in Spring Fork, MO on October 1, 1932 a son of George and Gladys Dump Coffman. On June 15, 1956 he married Elizabeth Bishop who survives of the home.Mr. Coffman was a regional sales manager for Supervalue a grocery wholesale company. He was a 1950 graduate of Cole Camp High School. Mr. Coffman loved attending car races , enjoyed working on the family farm, and spending time with the grandchildren. He was an Army Veteran of the Korean War.Survivors include a son David Coffman and his wife Julie of Houston, Texas; a daughter, Sheila Stevenson and her husband Matt, of Denver, Colorado; six grandchildren, Jonathan, Nicholas, Madelyn Coffman, Melissa, Alison and Maria Stevenson. He was predeceased by a brother, Tommy Coffman.A visitation will be held at Heckart Funeral Home from 6:30 p.m. -8 p.m. Wednesday.The family suggests contributions to Kansas City Hospice House, 12000 Wornall Rd., Kansas City, MO 64145 or may be left at the Heckart Funeral Home & Cremation Services.
