Phonda Christine Crum, 50, of Green Ridge, died Thursday, July 3, 2003, at the Bothwell Regional Health Center.
She was born December 12, 1952, in Sweet Springs, daughter of William and Christine Mobely Fitzgerald. On August 2, 1986, in Sedalia, she was married to David W. Crum, who survives of the home.
Mrs. Crum was a CNA at the Elder Care Residential Care Facility. She liked to quilt, sew, work in her flower garden and loved her dogs.
Surviving are her husband, David W. Crum of the home; two sons, Chris Brooks of Slater and Jason Brooks of Lees Summit; a daughter, Rhonda Fields of Grantsville, Utah; a half-sister, Joyce Wirth of Lincoln; a half-brother, Gerald Johnson of Phoenix, Arizona; and three grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her step-mother, Ila Mae Fitzgerald.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, July 6, at the Heckart/Gillespie Funeral Home with the Rev. Bob Wasson officiating.
Pallbearers will be Danny Crum, Denny Bartlett, Leo Miller and Al Kroeger.
Burial will be in Sunset Gardens Cemetery in Marshall.
The family will receive friends from 1-2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, where friends may call from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and after noon on Sunday. Friends may also sign the guest register online at www.heckart-gillespie.com.
The family suggests memorial contributions a charity of the donor's choice.
