Mr. Williams was a member of First United Methodist Church. He enjoyed playing
golf, hunting and fishing. He worked at Tyson Foods.

Surviving are a son, Matthew Williams, of Bowling Green; a daughter, Michelle
Schnackenberg, and her husband, Dale, of Independence; and four grandchildren, Trillian and Lauren Williams, and Thomas and Garret Schnackenberg.

He was predeceased by a sister, Mildred Williams, in infancy.

Funeral services will be at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 23, at Heckart Funeral Home, with Charles Youkey officiating.

Burial will be in Green Ridge Cemetery at a later date.

The family will receive friends from 6:30 p.m. until service time Wednesday, Jan. 23, at the funeral home. Condolences may be sent online at www.heckartfuneralhome.com.

A time of sharing will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 27, at First United Methodist Church, Fourth and Osage, led by the Rev. Jim Downing.

The family suggests memorial contributions to Cancer Research in Columbia.
Charles Wayne Williams, 61, of Sedalia, died Sunday, Jan. 20, 2008, at Boone Hospital Center in Columbia.

He was born Aug. 8, 1946, in Windsor, a son of Charles Andrew and Veneda Howard Williams. He was married to Janice Ferguson and later Susa Ward Terrell, both of Sedalia.
