Mary Olga Day, 71, of Sedalia, died Tuesday, January 18, 2005, at Bothwell
Regional Health Center.
She was born June 5, 1933, in Edcouch, Texas, daughter of Joe and Helen
Gonzalez. On May 3, 1953, in West Palm Beach, Florida, she was married to Fred E. Day, who survives of the home.
Mrs. Day was a member of Sacred Heart Church. She worked as a registered
nurse in nursing homes. She enjoyed sewing and cooking.
Also surviving are a son, Fred E. Day, Jr., of Kansas City; two daughters,
Glenna Langston, of Memphis, Tenn, and Linda Taylor, of Sedalia; four grandchildren; a brother, Oscar Gonzales, of Oklahoma City, Okla; and three sisters, Mary, Lilly and Billie, all of San Antonio, Texas. She was preceded in death by a sister, Minta.
There will be no services held. The family suggests memorial contributions to American Cancer Society.
