Henry Allen “Hank” Dial, 68, of Sedalia, died Thursday, April 28, 2005, at
University of Missouri Hospital and Clinics in Columbia.

He was born August 18, 1936, in Nelson, a son of Charles A. and Myrtle Carpenter Dial. On November 18, 1963, in Sedalia, he was married to Barbara J. Coats, who survives of the home.

Mr. Dial was a truck driver and farmed with his brother. He enjoyed gardening,
cooking and the outdoors. He attended First Assembly of God Church.

Also surviving are his mother, Myrtle Dial, of Sedalia; a brother, Albert Dial, of
Kansas City; and several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his father, Charles A. Dial; and a brother, Charles Dial.

Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday, May 2, 2005, at Heckart/Gillespie Colonial Chapel, with the Rev. Carl West officiating.

Pallbearers will be Casey Broyles, Keith Broyles, Timothy Dial, T.J. Cockrell,
Dwayne Compton, Keith Hall, Michael Broyles and Jack Doll.

Honorary pallbearers will be Melissa Davis, Krista Corbett, Kari Hall, Megan
Broyles, Chelsea Compton, Catherine Compton, Shelly Daley, Becky Colbertson, William Barlish and Steven Dial.

Burial will be in Miller’s Chapel Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 2-3:30 p.m. Sunday, May 1, 2005, at Heckart/Gillespie Funeral Home.

Memorial contributions may be given to the family.
