Mary “Marie” Enix, 84, of Sedalia, died Saturday, September 6, 2008, at Fair View Nursing Home.
She was born February 5, 1924, in Commerce, Oklahoma, a daughter of Alvin and Samantha Elizabeth Slover Smith. She was married to Bill Enix, who preceded her in death.
Mrs. Enix was a member of the Reorganized Church of Later Day Saints. She worked for 41 years as a telephone operator for AT&T Southwestern Bell. She had lived in Sedalia since 2003 moving here from Independence, MO.
Survivors include a brother, Eugene Smith, of Houston, TX; a niece, Geraldine Richardson, of Greenwood, California; three great nephews, Monte Richardson, of Sedalia, Leon Richardson, of Oak Hill, Virginia, and Paul Richardson, of Houston, TX; a great niece, Lisa Carpenter, of Folsom, California; seven great great nieces and nephews; and a sister-in-law, Altha Smith, Independence, MO. She was predeceased by a three brothers Richard Smith, Clifford Smith and Hubert Smith.
There will be no funeral services or family visitation.
