Mr. Brummet was a founding member of Faith Baptist Church. He loved winning souls to Christ, shaking hands, and helping people to feel better about themselves. He was a wonderful, caring man.
As a boy he loved to hunt, fish, play and work hard. In school he was very active in baseball, football and debate. During the depression, he worked as a grocery clerk, then a firefighter, then went to work for the post office. During that time, he enlisted in the Navy to serve his country in World War II. After retiring from the post office, he worked for Keele’s Paint and Linoleum.
