Miss Meyer began teaching in a one-room schoolhouse in Kidder, Missouri.
She also taught at Broadway School in Sedalia and at Scarritt, J.C. Nichols, and
Pinderton Elementary Schools in the Kansas City District.

Survivors include her cousins, Helen V. Norton and Nancy L. Pate. She was
predeceased by her parents; a brother, Harold Edwin Meyer; and a sister, Mary
Helen Meyer.

A memorial service for Frances and her sister, Mary Helen, was held at 1 p.m.
Friday, October 29, 2004, at Kingswood Manor in Kansas City.

Graveside services and burial were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, October 30, 2004,
at Crown Hill Cemetery.

The family suggested memorial contributions to Kingswood Endowment
Fund.

Frances L. Meyer, 95, of Kansas City, formerly of Sedalia, died Monday, October 25, 2004, at St. Luke's Hospital in Kansas City.

She was born June 14, 1909, in Sedalia, daughter of Franklin B. and Luella Mae Duncan Meyer.
