Jody Forke, 73, of Warsaw, died Sunday, April 17, 2005, at Bothwell Regional Health Center.

She was born November 15, 1931, in St. Louis, a daughter of Earl and Viola Heaston Humrich. On November 30, 1958, she was married to Franklin Petty, who died in January 1979. On April 4, 1981, in Beatrice, Nebraska, she married Floyd Edwin Forke, who survives of the home.

Mrs. Forke was a cosmetologist and worked at Petersons Manufacturing and Pershing College for a number of years. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church
in Lincoln, Missouri. Mrs. Forke was a model in California. She and her husband owned a bed and breakfast in Beatrice, Nebraska, where several films were made,
including O’Pioneer, Amerika, Unsolved Mysteries and a Japanese version of Unsolved Mysteries. She showed horse-and-buggies and received first place twice at
the Nebraska State Fair. She was a member of the Bits and Buggies Club.

Survivors include her husband, Floyd Forke, of the home; three daughters, Joyce Ticnor, of DeWitt, Neb., Jacquelyn Crosier, and her husband, Joe, of Beatrice, Neb., and Jenifer Robinson, and her husband, Rob, of Beatrice, Neb.; a son, Jaye Petty, and his wife, Theresa, of Columbia; a sister, Peggy Bone, of DeSoto; nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Jamie, and his wife, Dana Petty; and a granddaughter, Jemma Crosier.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Zion Lutheran Church in Lincoln, Missouri, with the Rev. Leonard Poppy officiating. Funeral services will also be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Beatrice, Nebraska, with the Rev. Leonard Poppy officiating..

Pallbearers will be Joe Crosier, Sr., Terry Robison, Rob Robinson, Jaye Petty, Joe Crosier, Jr., Adam Robinson and Kaleb Robinson.

Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Beatrice.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Zion Lutheran Church in Lincoln, Missouri.

The family suggests memorial contributions to a charity of the donor's choice.
