Jay C. Fowler, 45, of Hughesville, died Sunday, May 18, 2003, in Sedalia.

He was born, January 24, 1958, in Sedalia, son of John A. and Yvonne Leiter Fowler, Jr.  On January 19, 1980, he married Lori Addison, who survives of the home.

Mr. Fowler was a member of Broadway Presbyterian Church where he served as an elder and sang in the choir. He served on the Hughesville High Point Cemetery Board. He worked for Hayes-Lemmerz as a quality control engineer. He liked to deer hunt and was a computer buff. He lived in the Hughesville area all of his life.

Survivors include his wife, Lori, of the home; two sons, Jake Evan Fowler and Jordan Alexander Fowler, and a daughter, Emily Kathleen Fowler, all of the home; his mother, Yvonne Fowler of Hughesville; a brother, Daryl Fowler of Independence; and a sister, Beverly Dannels of Lees Summit.  He was preceded in death by his father, John (Jack) Fowler.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 20, 2003, at Broadway Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Lou Wollenberg and the Rev. Dennis Haines officiating.

Burial will be in High Point Cemetery near Hughesville.

Pallbearers will be Abe Hatami, Dwight Cowan, Truman Wiles, Bill Imhauser, Alan Meyer and David Addison.

Honorary pallbearers will be Jack Dannels, Adam Fowler, Bobby Greiner, Robert Addison and Gregory Addison.

The family will receive friends from 12 noon until service time Tuesday, May 20, 2003, at Broadway Presbyterian Church. 

Memorial contributions are suggested to the Fowler Children Education Fund in care of the funeral home.
