Constance M. "Connie" Fredrickson, 79, of Georgetown, died Monday, December 29, 2003 at her home.

She was born April 17, 1924 in Montrose, South Dakota, daughter of Harold and Serena Duffy Wiley.  On June 4, 1941, in Montrose, she married Hadley "Babe" Fredrickson, who died July 1, 1994. 

Mrs. Fredrickson owned and operated Connie's Café in Sedalia and Babe's Café in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.  She loved cooking and painting, and collecting dolls and Native American items.  She had been a Sedalia area resident since 1968 and was a Catholic.  She was raised by her beloved grandmother, Edna Duffy.

Surviving are two sons, Jeffrey Fredrickson, of Woodbridge, Virginia, and Todd Fredrickson, of Sedalia; five daughters, Sharon Wiertsema, of El Paso, Texas, Colleen Spielman, of Dallas, Texas, Sandra Hanning, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Susan Morris, of Sedalia, and Charlene Reque, of Cole Camp; twenty-one grandchildren; thirty-three great grandchildren; and a sister, Lola Czupka, of Florida. 

She was preceded in death by two sons; two daughters in infancy; two grandchildren; and a brother, Neil Wiley.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Heckart/Gillespie Colonial Chapel, with Father Tom Albers officiating. 

Pallbearers will be Chad Morris, James Hanning, Eric Fredrickson, Aaron Hanning, David Hanning, Peter Fredrickson, Brad Fredrickson, Troy Spielman, Kevin Reque, Mark Wiertsema, Steve Wiertsema and Paul Wiertsema.

Burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery.

Friends may call after 8:30 a.m. Friday at the Heckart/Gillespie Funeral Home, where the family will receive friends from 1-2 p.m. Friday.
