Frances Isabelle Thompson, 87 of Sedalia died Thursday, March 6, 2008 at Four Seasons Living Center.

She was born August 28, 1920 in Nelson, MO a daughter of Horton C. and Mary C. Cleghorn Snapp. On August 5, 1939 in LaMonte she married William L. Thompson and he predeceased her in death on June 3, 2004.

Mrs. Thompson was a member of East Sedalia Baptist Church, Rebekah Lodge # 260 and Candlelighters. She enjoyed spending with her family. Mrs. Thompson was a nurse’s aide at Bothwell Hospital for 34 years retiring in 1980 and had been a resident of Sedalia most of her life.

Survivors include two sons, William H. Thompson and his wife Linda, Hughesville; James L. Thompson and his wife Brenda, Smithton; three grandchildren, Gayle Banks, Billie Sue Price and James Robert Thompson ; three great-grandchildren and a step-sister, Esther Arnold, Sedalia.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday at the Heckart Funeral Home with Rev. Ray McDonald officiating.

Pallbearers will be Gene Cornine, Curtis Hammonds, Chris Thierfelder, Leslie Thierfelder, Mike Thierfelder and

Honorary pallbearers will be Alex Breshears, Dallas Hammonds, Melissa Hammonds, Trenton Hammonds and Jason Nichols.

Burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 12:30 p.m. - 1:30 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
