Lee attended First United Methodist Church. He was Army Vietnam veteran and was
stationed in Korea. He was employed at Waterloo Industries, where he was an accountant, retiring in 2006. He attended college for four years. He enjoyed golfing, hunting, fishing, woodworking, reading and he loved their annual trips to Vegas.
Surviving are wife, Lois, of the home; two sons, Lance Lee Gagne’, and wife, Angela, of Springfield, and Nathaniel Lional Gagne’, and wife, Heather, of Surprise, Arizona; one daughter, Renee’ Nicole Moore, and husband, Scottie, of Moberly; a step-son, Michael Landon Rhoads, and wife, Rika, of Japan; a step-daughter, Janet Leigh Newell, and husband, Donald, of Columbia; his mother, Frances Johnson, of Sedalia; a step-brother, Johnny L. Johnson, of Chelsae, Oklahoma; 7 grandchildren, Christopher, Codey, Jordan, Allison, Mackenzie, Raelynn, Gabrielle, and one on the way; and two step-grandchildren, Sharae and Adam. He was predeceased by his father, his step-father, Johnny Johnson; and his step-mother, Grace Gagne’.
Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 21, 2008, at Heckart Funeral
Home, with Rev. James Downing, Jr officiating.
Honorary pallbearers will be Ken Kuttenkuler, David Floyd, Cliff Long, Harold Jackson,
Bill Hopp, Jim Rice, and Chuck Mergen.
The family suggests memorial contributions to American Heart Association.
The family will receive friends at 10 a.m. one hour prior to the service at Heckart Funeral Home.
H.L. “Lee” Gagne’, 62, of Sedalia, died Wednesday, June 18, 2008, at KU Medical Center in Kansas City, Kansas.
He was born October 25, 1945 in Putnam, Connecticut, a son of Henry Lional and Frances Pauline Waite Gagne’. On February 23, 1985, in Sedalia, he married Lois Jean Albers,
who survives.
