Susan Joan Gano, 53, of Smithton, passed away Monday, June 1, 2009, at University of Missouri Hospital and Clinics in Columbia.
She was born February 9, 1956, in Cohoes, N.Y., a daughter of James and Joan Allendorph Forman. On February 13, 1974, in Bangor, Maine, she married Larry Wayne Gano, who survives of the home.
Mrs. Gano was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church in Florence. Her grandchildren were the light of her life.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by three sons, Ethan Gano, and his wife, Lori, of Topeka, KS, James Gano, and his wife, Sharon, of Topeka, KS, and Quinton Gano, of California; a daughter, Tiffany Anderson, and her husband, Andrew, of Smithton; 11 grandchildren; a sister, Karen, of Cohoes, N.Y.; and an uncle, Charles Allendorph, of Cohoes, N.Y.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Bethlehem Baptist Church, with the Rev. Steve Robinson officiating.
Casket bearers will be Larry Gano, Ethan Gano, James Gano, Quinton Gano, Paul Siron and Andrew Anderson.
Burial will be in Bethlehem Baptist Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until service time Saturday at Bethlehem Baptist Church.
