Ethel Geraldine Geiser, 70, of Sedalia, died Wednesday, May 9, 2007, at her home.

She was born May 6, 1937, in Nelson, a daughter of Ace Levi and Anna Esther Stone Lawson.

Mrs. Geiser was a member of Sedalia Church of God, where she was very involved. She was retired from ConAgra Foods. She enjoyed shopping at
Wal-Mart and crocheting. She was a generous person, giving to charities, writing letters to soldiers, visiting schools to hear kids read, and volunteering at nursing homes. Anyone who knew her loved her.

Surviving are two daughters, Ann Jones, of Sedalia, and Kimberly Tyler, of
Paintsville, Ky.; a son, Dennis Clark, of Potosi; three sisters, Viola Stetzenbach, of Sedalia, Mary Elvers, of Sedalia, and Bertha Dixon, of Syracuse; two brothers, Charles Lawson, of Missouri  and James Lawson, of LaMonte; seven grandchildren, Angelia Gerloff, Fred Rank, Jr., Stacy Dorton, Chris Kalaman, Rusty Tyler, Amber Brummett and Vondora Jones; and ten great grandchildren.

She was predeceased by a sister, Marsha Somers; and five brothers, Russell Lawson, and four in infancy, William Joseph Lawson, Ace Lester Lawson, Samuel David Lawson and George Thomas Lawson.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m Saturday, May 12, 2007, at Heckart/Gillespie Colonial Chapel, with the Rev. Sid Mabry officiating.

Pallbearers will be Harvey Pace, Sonny Vansell, Donald Dietzman, Johnny Sherrill, Harry Cornine, Chuck Smith Joseph Smith and John Brandkamp.

Honorary bearers will be grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Burial will be in Miller’s Chapel Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. Friday, May 11, 2007 at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions are suggested to the family in care of the funeral home.
