Myrtle Lee Glenn, 86, of Sedalia, died Tuesday morning, September 23, 2003 at Four Seasons Living Center.
She was born February 27, 1917, in Greene County, Tennessee, daughter of James Martin and Minnie Lee Penland Buckner. On May 5, 1950, she married Luther F. Glenn, who died March 22, 1984.
Mrs. Glenn had worked for Remington Arms in Kansas City, Missouri and was a homemaker. She was a graduate of Greeneville High School in Greeneville, Tennessee.
Survivors include a sister, Lois Buckner Johnson of Candler, North Carolina; a brother, Lynn Buckner of Candler, North Carolina; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by four sisters and nine brothers.
Graveside services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, September 25 at Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. Bruce Campbell officiating.
Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
There will be no family visitation, however friends may call from 12 noon to 5 p.m. Wednesday and until service time Thursday at the Heckart/Gillespie Colonial Chapel.
The family suggests contributions to the Alzheimer's Association.
