Ray V. Hatfield, 77, of Sedalia, died Tuesday, Feb. 6, 2007, at University of Missouri Hospital in Columbia.

He was born March 22, 1929, in California, Mo., a son of Al Hatfield and Mamie Thompson. On Sept. 6, 1958, in Sedalia, he was married to Ethel M. Bodenhamer, who survives of the home.
Mr. Hatfield worked for Looney-Bloess Lumber Company. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War.

Also surviving are two daughters, Pam Paul, of Warsaw, and Robin Houdek, of Sedalia; two grandsons, Donnie Perry III and Matthew Hatfield; and two brothers, Robert Hatfield, of Sweet Springs, and Carl Hatfield, of Sedalia.

He was predeceased by four sisters.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Heckart/Gillespie Colonial Chapel, with the Rev. Bill Roberts officiating.

Pallbearers will be Rusty Carver, Jack Bloess, Jim Perry and Richard Byrd.

Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until service time Friday at the funeral home.
