Jeanne Ordean Heisterberg, 88, of Sedalia, died Thursday, March 24, 2005, at Bothwell Regional Health Center.
She was born October 11, 1916, a daughter of William Frank and Eva Lena Mitchell Farris.
Mrs. Heisterberg was a member of First Christian Church, Order of the Eastern Star Chapter 57 and Telephone Pioneers of America. She worked as a telephone traffic operator for Southwestern Bell Telephone Company for 44 years, before retiring in 1978. She had lived most of her life in Sedalia.
Survivors include a nephew, Jack L. Farris, of Fullerton, Calif. She was predeceased by five brothers, Lovell, Carl, Herman, Lloyd, and Starr Farris.
Graveside services and burial will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 26, 2005, at Memorial Park Cemetery, with Pastor Carl West officiating.
The family will receive friends 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Heckart/Gillespie Colonial Chapel. Friends may call after 8:30 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
The family suggests memorial contributions to Westside Assembly of God or the Salvation Army.
