Kathryn Lea Heldstab, 86, of Windsor, formerly of Sedalia, died Monday, Feb. 2, 2009, at Windsor Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center.

She was born June 5, 1922, in Kleenburn, Wyoming, a daughter of Glenn M. and Blanche H. Carpenter Hicks. On Oct. 21, 1980, in Warsaw, she was married to Dillman Heldstab, who died in Dec. 1999.

Mrs. Heldstab enjoyed playing piano and organ, and sewing.

Surviving are a sister, Mary Hazel Smith, and her husband, Wilbert, of Windsor; two nieces, a nephew, and a host of friends.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 7, at Heckart Funeral Home, with Robert Eberhardt, Jon Platte and Esther Schraw officiating.

Casket bearers will be Duane Spinar, Dennis Spinar, Dale Spinar, Britt Booth, Paul Smith and Rick Schibi.

Burial will be in Laurel Oak Cemetery in Windsor.

Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until service time Saturday at Heckart Funeral Home.

Memorial contributions are suggested to Windsor Healthcare activity fund.
