Jose Alberto Herrera, 17, of Monett, formerly of Sedalia, died Monday, September 13, 2004, at St. John’s Regional Medical Center in Joplin.
He was born July 21, 1987, in Nurio, Paracho, Michoacan, Mexico, son of Juan and Herminia Alonzo Herrera.
Survivors include his parents of Nurio, Paracho, Michoacan, Mexico; ten brothers and sisters, Tomas Herrera, Jose Luis Herrera, Macaria Herrera, Pedro Herrera and Lorenzo Herrera, all of Magdalena, Michoacan, Mexico; Doroteo
Herrera and Pablo Herrera, both of California; and Enedino Herrera, Onorina Herrera and Juan Herrera, all of Missouri.
Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday, September 18, 2004 at Heckart/Gillespie Funeral Home, with the Rev. Efrain E. Baeza officiating.
The family will receive friends from 2-4 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
