Kelvin Lee Hester, 40, of Sedalia, passed away Thursday, May 28, 2009, near Sedalia, as a result of injuries suffered in a car accident.
He was born July 13, 1968, in Kansas City, MO, a son of Lewis Lee and Joyce Wolfe Hester.
Kelvin worked construction. He was a Baptist and enjoyed helping people.
Surviving are his mother, Joyce Hester, of Sedalia; a daughter, Brittany Hester, of Sedalia; and a son, Christaphor Hester, of Killeen, Texas.
He was preceded in death by his father and his grandparents.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Heckart Funeral Home, with the Rev. Elvis Durrill officiating.
Burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Heckart Funeral Home.
