Adelaide “Addie” Loraine Hoehns, 72, of Mora, died Wednesday, May 5, 2004 at her home.

She was born June 22, 1931, in Pettis County, daughter of Ulrey Seburn and Nannie Bell Anderson Eye.  On June 17, 1951, at Goodwill Chapel United Methodist Church in Sedalia, she was married to Robert Monroe Hoehns, who survives of the home.

Mrs. Hoehns was a machine operator for Lamy Manufacturing, retiring in 1998. She was a 1950 graduate of Smith-Cotton High School. She enjoyed crocheting doilies and afghans and giving them to her family and friends.

Survivors include her husband, Robert Hoehns, of the home; two sons, Dennis E. Hoehns, of Cole Camp, and Mark D. Hoehns, of Mora; two daughters, Jeanette K. Kullman, of Sedalia, and Sandra D. Craig, of Sedalia; three sisters, Minnie A. Jones, of Joplin, Charlene M. Ehlers, of Belton, and Mary L. Sisemore, of Lexington; two brothers, William H. Eye, of Pilot Grove, and Ralph C. Eye, of Sedalia; ten grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Don Eye and Robert Eye.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, May 8 at the Heckart/Gillespie Colonial Chapel, with the Rev. Jim Downing, Jr. officiating.

Pallbearers will be Jason Craig, Brandon Craig, Craig Hoehns, Shawn Hoehns, Trevor Hoehns, Trenton Hoehns, Marty Ferguson and Scott Hoehns.

Burial will be in Highland Sacred Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 6:30-7:30 p.m. Friday, May 7 at the Heckart/Gillespie Funeral Home.
