Stephen Paul Hofheins, 58, of Sedalia, died Tuesday, Dec. 6, 2005 at Bothwell
Regional Health Center. He was born May 17, 1947, in Kansas City, a son of Paul C. and Mildred L. Flowers Hofheins. On Oct. 1, 1966, in Kansas City, Kan., he was married to Jeanette Clark, who survives of the home.
Mr. Hofheins worked at Interstate Studios for 32 years, retiring in November
2004. He was a former member of Sedalia Police Personnel Board and Moose Lodge 1494. He enjoyed his grandchildren, his dogs, woodworking and dirt track racing.
Also surviving are two sons, Paul J. Hofheins, and his wife, Ginger, and Patrick
W. Hofheins, and his wife, KayMaree, all of Sedalia; his mother, Mildred L. Hofheins-Neumann, of Texas; two brothers, Jim Hofheins, of Odessa, and Raymond Hofheins, of Buckner; three sisters, Margaret Fox, of Texas, Vicki Kennedy and Debra Stoker, both of Buckner; and three grandchildren, Lucas, Brendan and Gracie. He was predeceased by an infant son, Alex; and his father.
Memorial services will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Heckart/Gillespie Colonial
Chapel, with the Rev. Dr. Drew Hill officiating. The family will receive friends from noon until service time Thursday at the funeral home. The family suggests memorial contributions to American Diabetes Association.
