Erma Lou Holloway, 77, of Sedalia, died Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2008, at Spectrum Hospital in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
She was born March 17, 1930, in Brumley, a daughter of Golfrey T. and Edith Markle Huddleston. On Nov. 3, 1949, in Marshall, she was married to James J. Holloway,
who died Oct. 12, 2000.
Mrs. Holloway worked in the office at Coca-Cola Bottling Company. She was a member of First Christian Church.
Surviving are a son, James J. Holloway Jr., and his fiancé, Rose Meade, of Jenison,
Mich.; a daughter, Pamela S. Jones, and her husband, David, of Lowell, Mich.; four sisters, Sharon Boggs and Linda Curry, both of Otterville, Pat Winthrow, of Savannah, and Barbara Roofe, of Knob Noster; four brothers, Dwight Huddleston, of Sedalia, Leonard Huddleston, of La Monte, and Paul Huddleston and Gerald Huddleston, both of Sedalia; and two grandchildren, Ryder Jones and Marina Jones.
She was also predeceased by her parents; her stepmother, Fern Huddleston; three
brothers, Emmett Huddleston, Harold Huddleston and William Huddleston; and a sister,
Virginia Huddleston Musick.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Jan. 7, 2008, at Heckart Funeral Home, with the Rev. Dale Murphy officiating.
Pallbearers will be Dwight Huddleston, Gerald Huddleston, Leonard Huddleston,
Wayne Curry, David Jones and Ryder Jones. Honorary pallbearers will be Paul Huddleston and Charles Boggs.
Burial will be in Highland Sacred Gardens.
