Mrs. Holman was a member of Faith Baptist Church. She was a talented artist, a lover of antiques and enjoyed quilting. She was an artist at Kandy’s Kakes and Bakery. She was a homemaker and had lived in Sedalia most of her life.
Also surviving are two daughters, Kathryn Angela Barnett, and her husband,
Michael, of Plymouth, Ohio, and Kandith Sue Derden, and her husband, David Alan, of Sedalia; three grandchildren, Angela Lynne Offenberger, Rebecca Joy McFarlin and Michael David Arnold; and six great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by a sister, Mary Ida Scott; a brother, Ray Albert Scott; and a son, Charles Lynn Holman, in infancy.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, December 15, 2005, at Heckart/Gillespie Colonial Chapel, with the Rev. Jimmy Gear and the Rev. David Derden officiating.
Pallbearers will be Loy Holman, Carl Holman, Eldon O’Neill, Philip Monsees,
Wayne VanNatta and Robert Hiltenberg.
Honorary pallbearers will be Norman Reichel, Lt. Col. James Reichel (Ret.), Norris Reichel, Mickey Reichel, Dale Reichel, Harold Scott, Dennis Scott and Dale Scott.
Burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, December 14, 2005, at Heckart/Gillespie Funeral Home.
The family suggests memorial contributions to Faith Baptist Church and Christian School.
Judith Angela Holman, 75, of Sedalia, died Monday, Dec. 12, 2005, at her home.
She was born, March 31, 1930, in California, Missouri, a daughter of Lewis A. and Mary Edna Reichel Scott. On June 26, 1949, in California, Missouri, she was married to Russell Lee Holman, who survives of the home.
