Cecilia Joyce Hood, 73, of Sedalia, died Tuesday, August 1, 2006, at Boone Hospital Center, Columbia.

She was born, October 28, 1932, in Albany, New York, a daughter of Albert Thomas and Mary Cecilia Derochie McDonald, Sr.

Mrs. Hood was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She enjoyed sewing, crafts, cross stitching, crocheting, hook rugs and collecting videos of all kinds. She was homemaker and lived in Sedalia since 1998, moving here from Kentucky.

Survivors include three sons, James Patrick Lincourt, Carson J. Lincourt, and Barry E. Lincourt; three daughters, Denise M. Lincourt, Samantha M. Hood and Tabatha A. Hood, of Sedalia; a brother, Albert Thomas McDonald, Jr.; five

grandchildren and a great grandson.

She was predeceased by a son, Gerald Nelson Lincourt and a daughter, Cecilia A. Lincourt.

There will be no funeral services or family visitation.

Arrangements are under the direction of Heckart/Gillespie Funeral Home.
