Mildred M. Hyken, 87, of Sedalia, died Tuesday, May 22, 2012, at Lincoln Community Nursing Home.
She was born April 19, 1925, in Sedalia, daughter of Charles Sr. and Bertha Davis Davidson. She was married to Robert Lee McCleland Sr., Kenneth Jefferson Turner Sr. and Sydney Hyken, all of whom preceded her in death.
Mrs. Hyken worked for Town & Country Shoe Factory, Bothwell Regional Health Center and had a cleaning business in Arizona. She enjoyed playing Bingo and loved her family and interacting with people.
Surviving are five children, Sandra Bickmore, of Mountain Home, AR, Myra June Elston, of Tucson, AZ, Robert McCleland Jr, of Lakeview, AR, Patrick Turner Sr., of Avondale, AZ, and Timothy Turner, of Warsaw, MO; four siblings, Alvena Mulberry, of Kansas City, MO, Delores Fyock, of Shawnee Mission, KS, Shirley Alexander, of Sedalia, and Charles Davidson Jr., of Sedalia; 13 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and 8 great-great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by siblings, William "Billy" Davidson, Wayne Davidson and Chester Davidson.
Graveside services will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 29, at Crown Hill Cemetery, with the Rev. Johnny Medlock officiating.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until service time Tuesday at Heckart Funeral Home.
