Johnnie Thomas Moore, 90, of Sedalia, died Thursday, August 2, 2007, at Manor Care Center in Warrensburg.
He was born March 2, 1917, in Morgan County, a son of Joe L. and Rotha Roe Moore. In 1939, in Sedalia, he was married to Kathryn Closser, who died in 1967.
Mr. Moore enjoyed dancing, fishing, traveling and gardening. He worked as a tree trimmer and a farmer.
Surviving are his companion of 30 years, Joan Smith, of Sedalia; a brother, Lloyd Moore, of Sedalia; two sisters, Lottie Pease, of Sedalia, and Mary Spears, of the State of California.
He was predeceased by two brothers, Paul and Joseph; and a sister, Dorothy Twenter.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday, August 6, 2007, at Heckart Funeral Home, with the Rev. Gary Richardson officiating.
Pallbearers will be Bill Bellamy, James Fisher, Caleb Fisher, Eddie Smith, Louis Smith and Rick Miller.
Burial will be in Olive Branch Cemetery.
