Nathalie June Kasak, 80, of Sedalia, died Monday, September 6, 2004 at Bothwell Regional Health Center.
She was born October 25, 1923, in Warrensburg, daughter of Robin Samuel and Roxie Jane Pollock White. On December 1, 1946, in Warrensburg, she was married to Richard E. Kasak, who survives of the home.
Mrs. Kasak was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, where she was a member of the Ladies Aide. She enjoyed cooking and teaching kids how to cook in 4-H. She enjoyed sending birthday cards to family and collecting family pictures.
Also surviving are two daughters, Dee Ann Burkhalter, and her husband,
Michael, of Sedalia, and Nancy Burkhalter, and her husband, Marvin, of Green Ridge; a sister, Olivia Petersen, of Warrensburg; six grandchildren, Heather Miller, Annie Funk, Wade Burkhalter, Holly Hollenbeck, Clinton Burkhalter and Clayton Burkhalter; and three great grandchildren, Dawson Funk, Caleb Hollenbeck and Alex Miller.
She was predeceased by three brothers, William White, Robert White and Don White.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Thursday at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Ken Tatkenhorst officiating.
Pallbearers will be Clinton Burkhalter, Clayton Burkhalter, Wade Burkhalter,
Scott Miller, Brian Hollenbeck and Chad Funk.
Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Friends may call after 8:30 a.m. Wednesday at Heckart/Gillespie Funeral Home, where the family will receive friends from 6:30-8 p.m. Wednesday. Friends may also sign the guest register online at www.heckart-gillespie.com.
